We advise, design and build — new systems, and existing ones taken over and reconnected. Databases, websites, platforms and the dashboards that report on them: made to fit your work, documented, and yours from day one.

Six services, one system

Consultancy · Databases & dashboards · Web design · Front end · Back end · Platforms & portals

Michel, Coding Smart
A word from our CEO

Our mission is turning your idea into working software

Good software makes the work faster and the problems visible. Everything we do starts there.

So the first conversation is about your work rather than about technology — how the orders arrive, where the records actually live, what your team does twice because the system cannot do it once. The technical decisions come afterwards, and they come out of those answers.

And what we build is yours. The source code, the database, the accounts — documented well enough that your own team can run it, change it and build the next thing on top of it. An asset you keep and reuse, not a dependency. We put the scope and the price in writing before we begin, and we finish what we start.

More about how we work

Six things, done all the way through

Most projects need more than one of these, so they are built as one system rather than handed between people who never speak — and built around the way your business already runs, not around what a piece of software expects of you.

See a working dashboard → — invented data, three different businesses.

All six services
Consultancy & technical advisory
icon

Audits, written specifications, build-or-buy advice and a second opinion on quotes — before anyone spends money on code.

Databases & data engineering
icon

New databases, and existing ones taken over, documented and reconnected. Migration off spreadsheets, query tuning, pipelines, dashboards and the reports your team keeps asking for. Includes our most requested work: a paper archive turned into a database, a portal to keep it fed, and a dashboard on top.

Web design
icon

Structure, type, colour and layout decided on purpose — a design system your site can grow into, not a template you fight.

Front-end development
icon

Fast, accessible, responsive interfaces. Real keyboard support, sensible loading states, and no layout that breaks on a phone.

Back-end development
icon

APIs, authentication, roles and permissions, integrations, scheduled jobs — the logic that has to be right every time.

Platforms & custom programs
icon

Learning platforms, internal tools, dashboards and automation scripts that quietly remove a recurring manual job.

Four stages, no surprises

Every project runs the same way, whether it is a five-page website
or a platform with a thousand users.

  • 1.Understand

We map the work as it happens now — who touches what, where it breaks, and what the real deadline is. No technology is discussed at this stage.

  • A written scope: screens, data model, integrations, timeline and a fixed price. You approve it before anything starts.

  • You see working software early and often, on a real link you can click. Changes are cheap at this stage, so this is where we want your opinions.

  • Deployment, data migration, documentation and a training session. Then optional support if you want a hand on call.

A few problems we have solved

Client names withheld on request — the problems and the shape of the solutions are real.

Every new document, on the right desk by morning

Accounting · Automation

Every new document, on the right desk by morning

A program that checks a government tax portal for hundreds of clients every day, files what is new in a database, notifies the employee who handles that client, and sends the manager one report each morning.

Python in seconde, taught by teachers who are not programmers

Education · Platform & back end

Python in seconde, taught by teachers who are not programmers

Crescendo Academy: students write and run Python in the browser, the teacher follows a guided path rather than improvising code, and the school can see every change — including one made to an exam question after submissions came in.

Research data that behaves like a record, not a folder

Research · Data & analysis

Research data that behaves like a record, not a folder

Our own build, and the one you can click: samples followed from intake to figure, runs tracked by instrument and reagent lot, and the analysis itself on screen — an expression heatmap and a genome-wide association view.
